Project description

For a Czech company specialising in thermochemical plastic recycling, we supplied and integrated Module 3 of the ACTROM technology into their existing operation. The customer already operates their own reactor and pyrolysis unit – our module was connected downstream of the existing pyrolysis line and handles the purification and separation of the resulting gas into usable fractions.

How the system works in practice

The customer carries out their own thermochemical processing of plastic waste. The output gas from the pyrolysis process enters Module 3, where it is separated and compressed using three compressors (each rated at 25 m³/h).

The customer obtains:

  • Condensate – a light hydrocarbon combustible liquid with high calorific value and energy content.
  • Gaseous products – consisting primarily of hydrogen and methane, available for further utilisation.

Both fractions are stored in a bundle of high-pressure cylinders at 200 bar, located immediately adjacent to the container. The entire container is manufactured to ATEX specification.
