What's Included in the Offer
Solar power plant installation is a complex process that requires careful preparation and coordination of many activities.
The decision to acquire a photovoltaic power plant (PV) is a strategic investment that requires a comprehensive approach.
In the following article, we will guide you through the entire implementation process with us - from initial analysis to long-term service and monitoring.
We examine how much energy you consume in different periods of the year and during the day, or for ground installations we analyze location suitability including orientation, terrain slope and potential shading.
Thanks to this, we can design a power plant of such size and configuration that ensures optimal ratio between investment and utilization of produced energy.
Photo documentation or property/location inspection
Electricity price and total annual consumption (for buildings)
Your possibilities for utilizing produced electricity
We focus on consumption peaks during machine startup and overall energy profile of the production process, so the system maximally covers consumption during working hours.
Besides location analysis, we examine soil conditions, snow and wind loads, distance from connection point and property rights to land.
We consider specific operating modes of municipal buildings (schools during holiday periods, offices, sports halls) and possibilities of energy sharing between facilities.
Based on analysis, we design a photovoltaic system with optimal capacity.
We use the PVGIS tool (Photovoltaic Geographical Information System), which predicts how much electricity the system will produce in individual months of the year based on precise location, panel tilt and other parameters.
Our predictions are very accurate - actual production usually differs by only 5%, often even exceeding the forecast. Thanks to this, you get a realistic idea of return on investment and future savings.
For complex projects, we can also prepare 3D visualization of panel placement within the facility.
ROI typically ranges around 6 years and we design the system to ideally cover around 75% of the facility's annual consumption.
We design system with optimal tilt and orientation for maximum production including placement for efficient maintenance, access roads and possibly specific solutions like agrivoltaics.
For municipal projects, in 99% of cases we also install battery systems, which are significantly favored in grant programs with up to 75% support.
Quality engineering documentation is the foundation of successful implementation and trouble-free operation.
We process complete technical documents including structural assessment (whether the structure can bear the weight of installation), fire safety solution (in accordance with new fire regulation valid from January 2024) and electrical installation design.
This documentation not only meets all legal requirements but also serves as basis for grants and connection to distribution network.
Poorly designed system can cause complications in the future, damage to structures or even fire - that's why we don't underestimate this step.
Emphasis on structural assessment of roof construction and consideration of new fire regulation requiring optimizer installation for safety assurance.
More extensive documentation including transformer station solution, land security, drainage, access roads and environmental measures.
Documentation respects specifics of public and often heritage-protected buildings and also serves as basis for council meetings.
We provide complete grant management, which can significantly shorten investment return period.
Currently you can get up to 75% of costs back, for example from Modernization Fund (RES+ calls) or from National Development Bank.
We prepare all documents including energy assessment and ensure application submission. Grant programs often have specific conditions and requirements - thanks to our experience (we secured grants exceeding 1 billion CZK) we know exactly how to structure the process for successful application.
After obtaining the grant, we also ensure subsequent monitoring throughout the entire project sustainability period (3-10 years).
We primarily use support from Modernization Fund (RES+ calls) and interest-free loans from National Development Bank (NRB).
Specific grant programs for ground installations, including special conditions for agrivoltaics, which thanks to Lex OZE 2 amendment allows maintaining agricultural subsidies when installing PV.
Specific grant programs with support up to 75% are available for municipalities, with special emphasis on combination with battery systems.
We handle all administration so you can focus on your business or regular activities.
For installations above 50 kWp, we ensure engineering and building permit. For smaller installations, building permit usually isn't necessary, which speeds up the entire process.
We also ensure application for connection to distribution network, which involves communication with distributor (ČEZ, EG.D or PRE), preparation of technical documents and arranging connection date.
For larger installations (above 50 kW), we arrange license at Czech Energy Regulatory Office. This entire phase can take several months, but thanks to our experience and contacts we can maximize its efficiency.
For power plants above 50 kWp (common for industrial halls), building permit and license from ERO are necessary, overall this phase takes up to 12 months.
Most complex approval process including land use change, opinions from many concerned authorities, typically takes 12-18 months.
For municipalities, capacity up to 50 kW often suffices, which simplifies approval process, additionally we provide materials for council meetings and participate in these meetings as needed.
The installation itself is the proverbial cherry on top, but it's preceded by careful preparation.
Our technicians work with quality components from verified suppliers (Tier 1 category photovoltaic panels, Fronius or Sungrow inverters).
The advantage is that we manufacture our own mounting systems, so we adapt the solution exactly to your roof or land conditions. Our mounting systems are hot-dip galvanized with 20-year warranty against corrosion.
We plan assembly so your operation runs without limitations. Thanks to our own production capacities and warehouse stocks, we keep agreed deadlines - we don't depend on external suppliers, which is a great advantage in times of frequent supply chain disruptions.
Solar panels
Inverter
DC and AC switchboards
Mounting systems
Electrical materials - cabling, steel trays, circuit breakers, surge protection etc.
Dispatch control (PV above 100 kWp)
Batteries (in case of energy storage in batteries)
Performance optimization (optimizers - Tigo, Solar Edge)
Installation usually takes 1-6 months depending on project scope, with emphasis on minimal disruption to production process.
Process includes specific steps like construction site security, foundation work, mounting system and panel installation, connection to transformer station; usually takes 3-6 months.
Implementation typically takes 1-3 months, we plan assembly during holidays or weekends for minimal disruption to public institution operations.
After installation completion, we ensure occupancy approval and power plant connection to distribution network. We handle all communication with distributor for you.
Since July 2024, you can use the novelty - electrical energy sharing between facilities. Surpluses produced on one building can be used elsewhere (for example school → municipal office, health center, wastewater treatment plant).
For this sharing, installation of four-quadrant meter with continuous measurement is needed. Energy flow control is then ensured by Electrical Data Center system (EDC.cz), which automatically optimizes production and consumption without need for manual interventions.
Grid connection takes up to 60 days, for installations above 50 kW we also arrange license at ERO.
Technically more demanding process taking 60-90 days, which includes transformer station commissioning, power plant inspection and trial operation.
This phase takes 30-60 days and includes setting priorities for energy distribution between individual municipal facilities, training personnel for basic monitoring.
Our cooperation doesn't end with power plant launch. We connect your photovoltaic power plant to monitoring center, which monitors it 24 hours a day.
Fronius Solar.web system alerts us to any problem (capacity decrease, component failure) and we solve 90% of defects remotely without technician dispatch.
We regularly check whether the power plant achieves expected yields (deviation of reality from prediction often amounts to only 5-10%, in many cases production even exceeds forecast).
We provide warranty up to 25 years for panels, 10 years for batteries and inverters. Thanks to our own spare parts warehouse, we can quickly respond to potential problems.
Monitoring also helps extend component lifetime and increases performance by up to 15%.
The entire process from initial analysis to photovoltaic power plant launch takes on average:
The decisive factor is primarily complexity of approval process and installation size.
Municipalities usually have the fastest process thanks to smaller systems up to 50 kW, which don't require building permit, while ground installations undergo the most complex approval proceedings.
Emphasis on efficient operation and quick solution of potential failures to prevent production process limitation.
We regularly check condition of mounting systems, vegetation and facility security, perform panel cleaning and transformer station service.
We provide transparent reporting for council and citizens about production and savings, ensure complete grant monitoring for 3-10 years.
