Photovoltaic Grants for Companies 2025
Utilize the new grant call from the Modernization Fund of the State Environmental Fund of the Czech Republic and get up to 30% of total costs for your photovoltaic project!
Photovoltaics Grants 2025
This grant call represents an ideal opportunity for industrial enterprises, production plants and other commercial entities.
With support up to 30% of total eligible expenses, the return period of your investment in a photovoltaic power plant is significantly shortened, making the entire project economically more attractive.
Based on our experience with implemented projects, the return on investment in photovoltaics using grants usually ranges between 5-7 years.
Alternative Energy Systems will ensure the complete process from consumption analysis, through engineering documentation, grant processing, to implementation and subsequent grant monitoring.
Reduce electricity costs at a time when energy prices are significantly rising
Increase your energy self-sufficiency and be less dependent on grid supplies
Effectively use roof areas or land for producing your own electricity
Contribute to ecological operation of your company and improve your ESG profile

The grant is intended for a wide spectrum of entities from the business sector. The applicant can be practically any company - from small limited liability companies to large industrial enterprises, regardless of the legal form of business.
You are an existing license holder for business in energy sectors (i.e., you have a license for electricity production) or will become one during project implementation
You don't have a license, but photovoltaic power plant operation will be contractually secured with an entity that owns this license. This solution is ideal for companies that don't want to deal with licensing and prefer cooperation with a licensed partner
You fall into the category of entities where license holding obligation according to current legislation is not necessary. This may apply to smaller production sources according to current legislation
Besides commercial entities, municipalities, city districts, regions, public institutions, schools, research organizations and non-profit entities can also apply for grants. For these organizations, preferential conditions apply - they can implement projects from 10 kWp capacity (instead of standard 50 kWp).
It's also important to know that unlike previous grant calls, for application submission it's not necessary to have an issued building permit - it's sufficient to document only the initiation of building proceedings. This significantly simplifies the entire process and speeds up the possibility of application submission.
Alternative Energy Systems will help you determine which category you fall into and ensure all necessary documents for proving grant eligibility. If needed, we can also recommend suitable licensed partners for operating your photovoltaic power plant.
Besides photovoltaics itself, you can also get support for battery systems or hydrogen production equipment, which perfectly fits into our portfolio of comprehensive energy solutions.
Photovoltaic panels - devices that convert solar radiation into electrical energy
Inverters - devices that change direct current from panels to alternating current for use in buildings
Mounting systems - systems for fixing panels on roofs or land
Electrical installation material - cables, switchboards and other elements necessary for functional connection
Measurement and regulation systems - devices for monitoring and controlling electricity production and consumption
Battery storage systems - devices for storing excess energy produced during the day for use when the sun isn't shining
Systems for hydrogen production by water electrolysis - technology that uses produced electricity to produce hydrogen as a clean energy carrier
These supplementary technologies represent an interesting opportunity for maximizing produced electricity use and optimizing project economics.
Battery systems enable storing excess energy for later use, while electrolyzers supported within this call convert electricity surpluses into hydrogen, which can be stored long-term or used in transport or industry.
Alternative Energy Systems offers comprehensive services in design and installation of both photovoltaic systems and supplementary technologies. Thanks to our experience, we can assess which solution is most suitable for your specific project from technical and economic perspectives.
