The plant is located on the site of a sand quarry in the village of Dolní Lhota in the South Moravian Region.
Due to the complex geological subsoil of the sand quarry, the project required careful structural design. The panels are mounted on a ground-screw structure.
The plant consists of 800 FuturaSun panels with an output of 590 Wp and 48 AIKO panels with an output of 550 Wp. It uses four 125 kW Fronius Argeno inverters.
Expected annual generation is 542.97 MWh. The electricity powers the sand quarry’s equipment and will cover approximately 40% of the site’s consumption. Around 90% of the electricity generated is consumed directly on site, and the company will use the remaining 10% at its other operations through electricity sharing.
The plant was connected to the distribution grid in October 2026.
The project was supported by the Modernisation Fund under the RES+ call No. 1/2022.
