For the Domaine Eisgrub, Vinné Sklepy Lednice winery, we implemented a photovoltaic power plant with an installed capacity of 10.45 kWp and battery storage with a capacity of 20.48 kWh. The electricity generated is used mainly for wine production technology and for cask cooling.
We installed the plant on two roofs of the site, oriented approximately 20° south-west with a 45° tilt. The roofs have an irregular shape, so we designed the panel layout to achieve the highest possible energy yield while preserving the visual character of the building. The total area of the installed panels is 42.1 m².
The system consists of 19 AIKO A550 monocrystalline panels with a high efficiency of 24.8%, a Solinteg MHT-10K-25 hybrid inverter and a Pylontech Force-H3 battery system with four battery modules. Thanks to the storage, the winery can also use electricity generated outside its consumption peaks instead of exporting the surplus to the grid.
The installation also includes Tigo optimizers with the Rapid Shutdown function. These improve the safety of the whole plant, as they allow the DC voltage to be reduced quickly when the system is switched off.
The plant is in operation and connected to the distribution grid. The expected annual output is approximately 10.9 MWh of electricity. This reduces the operating costs of the site and contributes to its energy self-sufficiency and to a more environmentally friendly operation.
The project was supported by a preferential loan from the National Development Bank (NRB). It is a financial instrument under Photovoltaic systems with and without storage (FVE) within the Operational Programme Technology and Applications for Competitiveness 2021–2027 (OP TAC).
