Solar energy for gas engineering plants in Rosice

We implemented an extensive photovoltaic power plant on five roofs of East Bohemian Gas Engineering Works

The power plant is equipped with 1,153 pieces of monocrystalline photovoltaic panels type JAM72S20 460MR from manufacturer JA SOLAR with unit capacity of 460 Wp. For conversion of direct current to alternating current, a total of 12 FRONIUS inverters were installed in TAURO and SYMO model series. The project was implemented in the period from May to August 2024.

The entire system was designed with emphasis on maximum utilization of the solar potential of the given location and ensuring long-term sustainability of the facility's energy needs.

The project was supported by a grant of CZK 3,839,895, which increased its economic return.

The main goal was to cover a significant portion of the company's electricity consumption from renewable sources.
